HUDSON COUNTY CORRECTIONS DEPARTMENT PROMOTES NEW OFFICERS, WELCOMES NEW JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER LEADERS

Yost and Daly take over for Murray at Youth Detention Center; Three Lieutenants, seven new sergeants are promoted to beef up supervisory team at Correctional Center

 

 

Jersey City, NJ—Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise swore in the new leaders of the Hudson County Juvenile Detention Center along with three new lieutenants and seven new sergeants for the adult correctional facility.

 

"We are sorry to see Bob Murray leave us after twenty two years," said DeGise. But we know Diana Yost and James Daly will fill those big shoes." Yost will serve as Director of Administrative Services and Daly will serve as Director of Custody at the youth detention facility located in Secaucus.

 

DeGise was joined by Freeholder Board Chair Eliu Rivera and Freeholder Board Public Safety Committee Chairman Anthony Romano in addressing the assembled crowd of family, friends and well wishers for the new appointed and promoted leaders.

 

The Rev. Brad Russell Chaplain for the Hudson County Department of Corrections led the opening and closing prayers.
