Many Hudson County residents are still struggling in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy with both property needs and emotional health.

Hudson County Long Term Recovery Committee(HCLTRC) has partnered with World Renew, an international relief group, to have teams of volunteers open several walk-in centers and to conduct a door-to-door survey of Hudson County residents who have been affected by Superstorm Sandy, primarily in the flood-prone areas. The surveys will be conducted from June 5th through June 19th.

The Hudson River Waterfront Conservancy (HRWC) is pleased to announce the  third annual  Walk the Walkway  program on the Hudson River Walkway.  In honor of the 25 anniversary of the legislation that created the pathway, six (6) walks each covering two to three miles are planned.   Each walk lasts approximately two to three hours at an easy pace. The focus this year is on parts of Jersey City, Bayonne and Guttenberg/North Bergen.
