The Hudson County Planning Board was established by a resolution of the Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders on September 27, 1962. The Hudson County Planning Board is a semi-autonomous, quasi-judicial body organized under the County Planning Act (N.J.S.A. 40:27-1 et seq.). The Planning Board has jurisdiction over all subdivisions and site plans for development and redevelopment along county roads or affecting county drainage facilities.
