Request for Proposals (RFP) Information

 Hudson County Area Agency on Aging

Program Years 2010-2012

The County of Hudson Department of Health and Human Services, Area Agency on Aging, is soliciting proposals through a “Fair and Open” procurement in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et. seq.   Proposals solicited herein are for Services to the Elderly pursuant to funding under the Older Americans Act.  Sealed proposals will be received by the County of Hudson Area Agency on Aging at the Meadowview Conference Room, 595 County Avenue, Building #3, Secaucus, NJ 07094, basement level, on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at 1:30 p.m.

The RFP is in Portable Document Format (.pdf) and requires Adobe Acrobat  Reader to view and print it.  Viewers will find pertinent sections of the  RFP in separate folders in order to provide easy access to all sections.  Detailed descriptions of the proposal guidelines, including application procedures, service categories and requirements, submission requirements, and evaluation criteria are contained in the sections Application Considerations and General Conditions and Instructions to Applicants

Applicants are strongly urged to review each RFP section prior to the mandatory pre-application conference, which will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the Hudson County Meadowview Campus Conference Room, 595 County Avenue, Building #3, Secaucus, NJ 07094, basement level. It is suggested that applicants download a copy of the RFP and bring it to the mandatory conference.  This mandatory conference will include an opportunity for applicants to ask questions.  Questions received after the mandatory conference must be asked in writing and will be responded to in writing.  Answers to questions, as well as any other information that may impact the application process, including addenda, will be posted to these web pages.  Thus potential applicants are advised to check these web pages from time to time prior to the proposal submission date.
