NEW YEAR, NEW TERM — Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise (center) is sworn in for his new term of office. This is his fourth inaugural ceremony since taking the oath of office for the first time in 2002 after a special election. The County Executive was sworn in this time by U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ). The bible was held by the County Executive's wife, Caren (center left) while his daughters Linda and Amy, and Hudson County Freeholder Eliu Rivera looked on. In his inaugural remarks, the County Executive thanked family and staff and outlined in brief some of his hopes for Hudson County over the next four years including the opening of a new public golf course and continued expansion of the County Community College.
