County Executive Tom DeGise will present his annual "State of The County" Address on Thursday, February 14th at 5:30 pm. The title of the address is "One Bite At A Time." It will focus on the county's efforts to patiently and diligently address thorny social problems like recidivism and chronic homelessness and to help jump start development in parts of West Hudson. 

The Hudson County Division of Welfare will begin to take applications on November 26, 2012 through December 4, 2012 for those who may qualify for D-SNAP, a federally funded program to provide food stamps to those who do not normally qualify in the wake of a disaster.
